Another Schedule Change

We will NOT be meeting on Wednesday this week, we will have to move it to TUESDAY March 12th. It will still be from 6-7 at our house. Sorry for the change, see you Tuesday

Change in Scedule

He everybody Next week we will be meeting at the church on Wednesday for a friends of scouting activity instead of the regular meeting at our house. We are supposed to get more details at church this Sunday. I will update the blog once I know what time it is.

Collections

We had a good time putting together our penny collections. The boys had a good time finding coins that were older than any of us and pennies that were from the same year they were born. The blue and gold banquet is next. It will be on Feb. 21 at 7pm at the church.

Feb. 11 Update

Hey all Sorry to take so long to update this. We met last Wednesday and had a good time learning about tools and even got to practice cutting and hammering wood as we made a target stand. This Wednesday we will be covering the wolf achievement around collections. If you have a collection or have something in mind to start a collection have the boys bring it this Wednesday and they can share it with the group. If not we will come up with something to start collecting (pocket lint maybe?). I don't think the collection achievement will take very long so we will probably get started on the next achievement as well. Thanks and see you Wednesday.

New Year Ready to Go

Hey all, We are ready to go for den meetings in 2013. Our next den meeting will be Feb. 6th at 6 PM at our house. We will be working on Wolf Achievement number 5. We are going to plan on meetings every 1st and 2nd Wednesday of the month and see how that goes. The Pack meetings are every 4th Thursday. Thanks, The Stanleys

December 12th Meeting

We had fun learning about safety around the home. They made a list of emergency and non-emergency phone numbers and also a list of chores to do around the house. We talked about what to do if someone comes to the door and how to answer the phone. It was funny to see how unaccustomed this generation of kids are to answering the phone since most of us carry cell phones and the "house phone" has become a thing of the past. We wrapped things up with a spirited paper airplane contest. We will be working on a plan for meeting in the new year and should have that posted sometime during the last week of December. There will be no more den meetings until January so have a happy holidays and see you next year.
